Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 - 1 June 2011 - Arrival in India (Delhi)

You will be met at the Indira Ghandi International Airport by an agent and will be transferred to the hotel in Delhi for your on night stay.  (No dinner will be served)

Day 2 - 2 June 2011 - Delhi to Leh (Ladakh)

Early morning pick up and transfer to Domestic airport for flight to Leh.  Pick-up from Leh airport and transfer to the hotel.  Meet and greet session coupled with breakfast on arrival.  Complete rest is recommended for yourself for the rest of the day to enable yourself to acclimatize to the rarefied air at the high altitude.  In the evening take a slow walk to the nearby Leh market place.

Day 3 - 3 June 2011 - Leh (ISIS LOTUS HEALING LEVEL 1 - DAY 1)

Course will be conducted at the hotel.  Course time is from 9am - 6pm.  Full attendance is required in order to obtain your certificate.

Day 4 - 4 June 2011 - Leh (ISIS LOTUS HEALING LEVEL 1 - DAY 2)

Course will be conducted at the hotel.  Course time is from 9am - 6pm.  Full attendance is required in order to obtain your certificate.

Day 8 - 8 June 2011 - Alchi - Lamayuru - Leh

  2. Rezong Monastery
  3. Basgo Palace
  4. Sasbol Monastery and Sasbol Cave
  5. Hindu Temple
  6. Moti Market (Local Market)
  7. Internet Cafe (For those who need to check their e-mails etc.)

Day 9 - 9 June 2011 - Leh to Nubra Valley

  1. Diskit Monastery
  2. Walk along the narrow lanes of the Diskit town where you can buy some souvenirs
  3. Ride on the double humped Bactrian camels in the sand dunes of hunder
  4. If time permits a visit to the monk's home can be made possible

Day 10 - 10 June 2011 - Nubra Valley to Leh

  1. Panamic Hot Sulphur Spring.  (The water from this spring seems to cure a lot of ailments and people come from all walks of life to bathe in it). 
  2. Samstanling monastery

Day 11 - 11 June 2011 - Leh to Panggong Tso

  1. Panggong Lake through Changa Pass at 5,486 Meters at the Peak
  2. Takthok Monastery which is built in Padmasambhava Cave
  3. Holy Fish Pond
  4. Leh Market Place or Moti Market Place or Internet Cafe if time permits

Day 12 - 12 June 2011 - Leh to Tsomoriri

  1. Arrival and check in at the camp for overnight stay
  2. Meditation on the bank of the lake
  3. Korzok Monastery on the western bank of the lake which is one of the oldest settlements of the world.
  4. Rest of the day is free

Day 13 - 13 June 2011 - Tsomoriri to Leh

  1. Sumdo Monastery
  2. Tsoker Lake

Day 14 - 14 June 2011 - Flight From Leh to Delhi and Delhi Sight Seeing

  1. The Lotus Temple (The most visited in the world that surpasses the Taj Mahal in the number of visitors)
  2. Red Fort
  3. Jama Masjid
  4. Raj Ghat
  5. India's Gate
  6. President's House
  7. Humayun's Tomb
  8. Laxmi Narayanan Mandir (aka Birla Mandir Temple)
  9. Akshardham Mandir
  10. Qutub Minar
  11. Chandni Chowk (Local Market) if time permit to shop for fruits only

Day 15 - 15 June 2011 Delhi to Agra (into the state of Mathura, Faridabad and Uttar Pradesh)

  2. On the Way stop to take a picture of the statue of Lord Shiva
  3. On the Way stop to take picture of the angels
  4. Agra Fort

  6. Punch Mahal

Day 17 - Delhi to your country of Destination (Tour Ends)

Pick up from hotel and transfer to Indira Ghandi International Airport Delhi for your flight home.  Please leave early as the airport is unpredictable in the number of passengers and very strict with their checks.  Be at the airport at least 3 hours before your flight takes off.  As you leave in the wee hours of the morning there will be no breakfast served.

There might be slight changes to the itinerary nearer the date in the event that there is wheather change in Ladakh.  If that happens another place will be substituted.
